MASHO MARGISHVILI
MULTIDISCIPLINARY ARTIST & MURALIST
I'm a multidisciplinary artist and cartographer of visual worlds, based in Tbilisi, Georgia.
I work on illustrations, murals, graphic design, animation, and sound, building things across media, while developing my own visual language.
My background is in industrial design and digital learning games. I spent over a decade building Masholand, a parallel universe with its own mythology, creatures and geography. Alongside that I freelanced on murals, commissions, and collaborations with creatives, agencies, festivals and companies in Georgia and abroad.
These days I'm back in Tbilisi, still painting walls, still teaching, still taking on commissions. I'm also pushing into new territory: cultural studies, esoterics, concept direction and mixing personal essays with visual stories. Different tools, but same underlying curiosity.
